Interactive translation system: An interactive translation system is a second-generation machine translation system where the knowledge of a human translator is combined with the MT system. Here, the system proposes a possible translation and the human translator can either accept or amend the proposal, and with each corrected segment, the MT system uses that information to improve future proposals.

Sistema de traducción automática interactiva: Un sistema de traducción automática interactiva es un sistema MT interactivo (o IMT, por sus siglas del inglés) que produce una hipótesis de traducción y que permite al usuario modificar o aceptar la propuesta. Con cada decisión, el sistema intenta hacer uso de la informacion que obtiene para producir una nueva hipotesis y mejorar la calidad de las sugerencias.
