Sistema de traducción automática interactiva: Un sistema de traducción automática interactiva es un sistema MT interactivo (o IMT, por sus siglas del inglés) que produce una hipótesis de traducción y que permite al usuario modificar o aceptar la propuesta. Con cada decisión, el sistema intenta hacer uso de la información que obtiene para producir una nueva hipótesis y mejorar la calidad de las sugerencias.

Interactive translation system: An interactive translation system is a second-generation machine translation system where the knowledge of a human translator is combined with the MT system. Here, the system proposes a possible translation and the human translator can either accept or amend the proposal, and with each corrected segment, the MT system uses that information to improve future proposals.
